Dogmars Dark Kin
Wheee, first topic in this section.
I thought I should share my DE project that can also be found in an abandoned thread over at TDC. However, much has changed since then.
Novelties include:
-new scheme for black leather, switched from edge highlighting to full surface grey shading which acutally makes it more grey leather than black leather, but it's easier to do and looks better in my opinion.
-turquoise highlighted one step brighter across the board, didn't look catchy enough as it was.
-new units added and the fleet is almost finished
-a lot of base designs with debris and everything added and fully painted
-some neat metal HQ stand-ins and conversions added.
There is just 3 vehicles and reworking the models with the old leather scheme to match the new ones to go before I'm completely done with all my DE stuff. Then I can finally get 1-2 more ravagers and stuff to convert coveny stuff and a beast pack... yay!
For a start some pictures of the early stages of this project. More will be added as I get to make good pictures of the new things. Just as a teaser though. New things include scourges, 9 reavers and a razorwing jetfighter.

And my transporting case. Lighted with LED-strips, has removable floors covered with a stainless steel sheet. Floor height can be adjusted to match the models height. All models are magnetized and stay on the trays even if you put them upside down and shake it like a madman... yes, I tried that, I'm that fond of my magnets

Looks really nice, those bases are exceptional and the freehand is looking great as well.

The test Kabalite is very ace. I think that I might have to steal your large tribal design for my Archon's Raider!

Saintspirit, if you like those bases, wait for the vehicles and the flyer Also, my CWE army will have some extremely fancy bases - yay, teaser Those take a while to make though, so no pictures of that yet. I'll open a dedicated log for those.
ESE, steal right away. As you can see, I have simplified the pattern for the other vehicles to make it sprayable with masking foil. Test Kabalite is ok, the completed ones look a lot better imo Stay tuned.
